Upstairs at Dolans hosts many national and International breakthrough musical acts. It is also very popular for acoustic gigs and sessions. The Coronas, Jape, Damien Rice, Lisa Hannigan, Gemma Hayes, Des Bishop, Paddy Casey, Duke Special, Sharon Shannon and Declan O'Rourke have all played here.

Belltable is Limerick’s premier city centre venue. Established in 1989, it is the oldest regional arts centre in Ireland. In April 2016, the venue was relaunched under the management of Lime Tree Theatre. The Lime Tree Theatre runs two venues – Lime Tree Theatre on the campus of Mary Immaculate College and Belltable, at 69 O’Connell Street. The Lime Tree Theatre and Belltable are supported by the Arts Council, Limerick Arts Office, Limerick City and County Council and Mary Immaculate College.
