Limerick Jazz are delighted to present the Grammy Award winner Cassandra Wilson on Sat November 4th with a stellar line up of musicians from New York and Ireland.
A totally unique project in which Wilson brings together elements from America’s true musical art form, jazz and Irelands rich tradition of songwriting.
Winner of two Grammy awards, Wilson has sold millions of albums on the Blue Note label but is known for her ability to attract audiences from across a broad spectrum of musical genres.
David O’Rourke is one of Ireland’s better known exports. He has been working in NYC since the eighties as a performer, composer and arranger. David is the producer of Wilson’s next album.
