[ARCHIVE] Limerick Jazz Workshop Autumn 2016 Semester
Are you a singer or instrumentalist interested in learning how to play jazz? Do you know somebody with a lot of musical ability and nowhere to play? Our ensemble-based format is a great way to learn and allows students to apply their existing skills in a practical way leading up to a live performance at the end of each semester. We cater for all levels of experience once you have some basic facility on your instrument and are prepared to put in a reasonable amount of practice.
Our classes will take place as usual at the Learning Hub Limerick in Kileely. As well as our regular ensembles we also have specialised classes for beginners, singers and our little big band. Our schedule is as follows:
6.45pm-7.45pm Beginners, Singers, Little Big Band
7.45pm-9.45pm Regular Ensemble Classes
Autumn Semester 2016 starts on October 4th and will run every Tuesday evening until December 6th with our end of term gig in Dolan’s Upstairs on December 7th. We may arrange one additional session to bring the total including performance to twelve. Cost per session is €15 (€10 concessions) with a maximum charge of €180 (€120). Normally half the total cost is payable upfront.
